Fr. Micah was born and raised on a rural California sheep ranch before moving to the big city to attend Biola University. There, he participated in the Torrey Honors College where he studied the Great Books of the Western tradition and earned a degree in Biblical and Theological Studies. While at Biola, Fr. Micah discovered and fell in love with the Anglican tradition and began to discern for holy orders. After college, he moved to Wisconsin to study for the priesthood at Nashotah House Theological Seminary, where he earned his MDiv in 2022. That same year, Fr. Micah was ordained to the diaconate and the priesthood. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Historical Theology at Marquette University studying the theology of love in the Greek Church Fathers, growing out of his abiding fascination with how the mystery of Jesus affects, transforms and restores our relationships. In his spare time, Fr. Micah enjoys hiking, exploring quirky museums, and reading old, old books.
